9What do we do?
Phuket Natural Pools designs and builds natural swimming pools, ponds, water features and artificial climbing walls in Phuket. By ‘natural pools’, we mean free form shaped swimming pools set in a natural setting, usually including water features, rocks, statues, landscaping, shade areas and other features, to create a tropical look and feel that is keeping with the beautiful island of Phuket.
We design and build your pool from concept through to completion and even surrounding structures and landscaping if required.
Please note that some people define ‘natural pools’ as pools not using chlorine, salt or other chemical or mechanical means of cleaning and sanitation but instead using plants, beneficial bacteria and other biological means to clean the water. We have no experience with that but if you are interested, we will work with you.
How do we work with a client?
We start by showing you our demonstration pool, which is also the pool at our house that we swim in every day. Then we look at your land and discuss design options and price estimates.
Following more detailed discussions, we will give you a detailed quote and realistic start and completion date.
If you choose to hire us to design and build your pool, we will apply for permits and build the pool and surrounding architectural features, including installing the pool systems.
There are hundreds of pool companies in Phuket, why would I choose you?
We specialize exclusively in natural, free-form pools. We are a small family business and only undertake one project at a time. The company owners, Steve and Gee will be on site almost every day to supervise the building of your pool. We pride ourselves on attention to detain in all aspects of the design and building process. We have built 7 pools in Thailand since 2006 and Steve is the author of the popular book, “How to buy land and build a house in Thailand” under the pen name “Philip Bryce”.
We will treat your project like we are building our own pool, checking every detail and aiming for perfection. But we also keep cost in mind, saving money by working efficiently and using innovative design ideas; savings we pass on to you.
Because we have no overhead, no showroom, no salary staff, we can charge far less than the big pool shops and still make a profit, so you know we are not going to go bust in the middle of the job and leave your pool unfinished. And since Phuket is our home, you will always know where to find us.
